Black and Red

So, here is the quilt top of my Red and Black quilt.  I found the pattern in a book that I don't even remember the name of now, but with some digging I should be able to find it if anyone wants it.  It is composed of 9 patches made of blocks and half square triangles.  It was really quite easy to do.  I finished it with a red border, black binding and a red and black backing.  I quilted it on my mom's long arm machine in a red and cream varigated thread.  One of these days I'll take a picture of the finished piece.  I am considering entering this quilt into the Dekalb County Illinois fair this fall along with some other pieces.
