I apprecciate your kind words.  With each day passing the site becomes more refined and with some of the final text going off to our editor (my brother in law) we are getting closer to what I would like to see as the finality of the site.  I am proud of this site, but highly nervus about its success.  Each detail we seem to toil over triing to make it absolutely the best site we can make!  I appreciate your confidence!

Sorry I did'nt respond here before. I just checked it out, and found these notes!

This is the sixth Row by Row I made a row for. It is the final row to be done on this quilt top. I did the row in the foreground. The assignment was "Hearth and Home". I did Log Cabin blocks.  All the other rows were done by different people. We will recieve our own back in 3 weeks so we will see what others did on the one we started. I can't wait to see mine.

This is another of my "Row by Rows". The row I did for this one is the one in the foreground. It has already moved on to the next person. Each row was done by a different person.

This quilt top ventured out of my comfort zone as far as color goes, but I ended up loving it!

This is another Debbie Caffrey Mystery Quilt pattern. This time I worked on two at once. I had no idea how they would look until they were completed! It is fun to do quilts this way!

This quilt is from one of my Georgia Bonesteel books. I started hand quilting it years ago. It is still on my must finish list!

Edit: I went and looked it up, and it is in the book "More Lap Quilting".

My friend that I helped with the crazy quilt also wanted to do this quilt. I liked it, so we each did one. The directions on the pattern were very hard for a beginner. So she came over weekly and we worked on each of ours side by side. This is mine. Hers has been quilted with a friend's longarm. I want to quilt mine by hand. The pattern is by Jane Dawson for Block Party Studios, Inc.

This is a Debbie Caffrey Mystery Quilt. I put my squares together different from the way the instructions said to do it. Does that make it my own design? It was very fun to do!

This is a Debbie Caffrey mystery quilt that was done at Old Town Needlecrafts. We chose our fabric without knowing how the quilt would look. Until the last step of the instructions it was very hard to tell what the final result would be! It is fun and a very good way to learn to pick fabrics that you like without being influenced by a books photo of the quilt already done.
