Sweet, Sour, Salty or HOT!
I am definitely all about sweet! I love my hot sauces, and I can deal with sour. Its even fun! However my vice is Chocolate. I wish I could share my favorite chocolate recipe, but the local store here will not give it up! We call it chocolate crack cake! I bet the recipe is on the net, however Wegmans has not officially released their recipe for the cake and I do not feel taking it and posting it is right!
I was wondering what everyone else’s favorite desserts were and how to make them!

Yummy! I love cake. I also love homemade cookies.
You prefer Sweet over the rest?
I eat sweet and then follow it with salty, or eat salty and follow it with sweet. I also like mexican food! Sour is good too!!! I gues I like a combination of them all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi:
We went out for dinner on Tuesday 8-26 for our anniversary (number 36!!) at Black Angus. We were too full for the dessert that came with the meal, so had them box it up and we took it home for later. It was chocolate cake with hot fudge sauce and vanilla ice cream--we were in chocolate heaven!!! Sometimes I like to have something sweet that's not too sweet--we have a favorite ice cream store that we sometimes go to that has a raspberry sorbet/sherbet that is so good. Refreshing, but not overly sweet.
As far as trying to make things, I am pretty hopeless. Overall, I'm a terrible cook. I would much rather do quilting or cross stitch or something else, rather than working for a long time on a meal or dessert. People gobble up the food, and then it's all gone, whereas the quilt will be around for years!
36 years is a really great. Our 35 anniversary is coming Sept 8th. I most say that it is even better the older we get, I still love the guy.
I would love to see your cross stitch, we all do different things, it is in our blood. There is an area for crafts for our other interests. This all makes us who we are.
As far as sweets, I am over the top with sweet and chocolate. I can't even have it in the house, I would eat it in one sitting, very bad. I don't bake much anymore, now that the kids are out of the house. So when we need something sweet we go out and get it, or buy it for a party or something. Then it isn't in the house. Chocolate covered cheeries, I won't even go there.
I must say that as I get older, I would like to do what I am interested in more than taking care of the house, etc. Quilting has really taken over my life.

33years married for me. I've never liked house cleaning, but no one else here is going to do it! I mainly bake cookies. I do it with my granddaughters a lot.
